1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes the information practices of Kitchen Portion Helper (Android package: com.kitchenportion.helper), provided by Aureate Gateway Trading Limited (金闕貿易有限公司), a company registered in Hong Kong. Kitchen Portion Helper is designed as an offline utility for ingredient measurements, portion scaling and cooking-related unit conversions.

2. Information we collect

For the current planned 1.0.0 release, the app does not require you to register an account or provide a name, phone number, email address, or other personal contact details. The app is designed to perform conversions without sending your calculation inputs to our servers.

Based on the current release candidate reviewed by the developer, the app does not include advertising, analytics, behavioral tracking or network-based advertising SDKs. We do not operate a cloud account or remote database for this app.

3. Information processed on your device

Ingredients, quantities, units and portion inputs you enter are processed on your device to produce conversion results. If the app saves settings or entered values for convenience, these remain in the app's local storage on your device and are not transmitted to us.

The company website may remember your language preference in your browser's local storage. It does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Choosing to contact us by email is voluntary; your email service provider may process your message according to its own policy.

4. Data sharing and third parties

We do not sell or share your in-app conversion inputs with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics providers. The app does not integrate third-party tracking SDKs in the current release candidate.

If you download the app from Google Play, Google may process information related to installation, updates, security, and store usage under Google's own privacy terms. Such processing is separate from the app's own handling of your conversion inputs.

5. Data retention and deletion

Because the app does not maintain user accounts or a remote user database, there is no server-side app account or personal profile to delete. Calculation inputs are handled locally. Any locally retained app information can be removed by clearing the app's storage in Android settings or uninstalling the app, subject to Android device-backup settings.

Emails you voluntarily send to our contact address may be retained as long as reasonably necessary to answer your inquiry and maintain relevant correspondence. You may request deletion of correspondence by contacting us.

6. Information security

Keeping calculation activity on the device limits the need to transmit it over the internet. We recommend keeping your Android device updated and using the device's security protections. No method of storage or transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Children's privacy

The app is a general-purpose kitchen utility and is not designed to request personal information from children. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information through the app. If you believe information has been provided to us through correspondence involving a child, please contact us.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in app functionality, data handling, legal requirements or contact details. The revised policy will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
